This is a beautiful Souvenir Sheet, issued in 2012 in Burundi, celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Henri Salmet's flight from London to Paris in his Bleriot monolplane. The sheet features newspaper clippings about the March 7, 1912 nonstop flight of 222 miles from London to Paris in two hours and 57 mintues, as well as pictures and souvenir postcards of the plane and the event. The stamp features an image of Herni Salmet and the Bleriot monoplane that he flew. The sheet is Post Office fresh, mint never hinged, and F/VF.
