This is a beautiful Souvenir Sheet, issued in 2011 by the Central African Republic, honoring Romy Schneider, the Austrian-born German actress who became famous in the French film industry. The sheet was issued to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her death in 1982. The sheet features images of Romy Schneider in some of her famous film roles, including "Katia" ("Adorable Sinner") and "Christine." The sheet also highlights her Cesar (the national film award of France) for Best Actress in "The Most Important Thing: Love" (1975) and "A Simple Story" (1978).
