This is a beautiful 4 stamp sheet, issued by Guinea-Bissau in 2012, commemorating the 210th anniversary of the death of Russian painter Ivan Argunov (1729-1802). The stamps and sheet all feature a detail of his self portrait, and each of the stamps includes examples of his work as one of the founders of the Russian school of portrait painting. Included are "Portrait of P.B. Sheremetev," "Portrait of Count Nikolai Sheremetev," "Portrait of an Unknown Peasant," and "Portrait of Princess Ekaterina Alexandrovna Lobanova-Rostovskaya."
