This is a beautiful Souvenir Sheet, issued in the Republic of Guinea in 2012, celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the euro, which is the official currency of the Eurozone, and the post-war European unification that led up to its creation. The stamp features Canadian economist and Nobel Prize winner Robert Alexander Mundell, who is considered one of the founders of the euro. The sheet includes images of Robert Schuman (French statesman who was instrumental in building the European Union) and Jean Monnet (French political economist and diplomat who is considered the chief architect of European unity.)
