Mozambique - Nefertiti, Pyramids - Stamp Souvenir Sheet 13A-887

This is a beautiful Souvenir Sheet, issued in 2012, commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the discovery of the Nefertiti Bust, a 3,300-year-old painted limestone bust of Nefertiti, the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. The stamp and sheet feature images of the bust and its discovery, including portraits of German philanthropist Henri James Simon, who donated the Nefertiti Bust to the Berlin State Museums, and contemporary Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass. The sheet is Scott catalog #2576, and is Post Office fresh, mint never hinged, and F/VF.
