This is a beautiful Souvenir Sheet, issued in 2012 in Mozambique, featuring American inventor Thomas Edison (1847-1931). The stamp and sheet highlight Edison's inventions, including the phonograph (1877), a model of a telephone, and the kinescope. The sheet also honors Eadweard Muybridge (1830-1904) who was an English photographer important for his pioneering work in photographic studies of motion and in motion-picture projection.
