Solomon Islands - Bats - 4 Stamp Mint Set & Souvenir Sheet 19M-051

This is a beautiful set with a sheet of 4 stamps plus an attached Souvenir Sheet, issued in 2012 in the Solomon Islands, featuring bats of the region. This is a large sheet, which measures almost 10 inches long by about 5 inches high. The 4 stamp sheet highlights different species of Solomon Islands bats, including the Large-footed Bat (Myotis adversus), the Angulate Pipistrelle (Pipistrellus angulatus), and the Admiralty Flying Fox (Pteropus admiralitatum.) The background is the interior of a cave and includes an image of a Naked-rumped Pouched Bat (Saccolaimus saccolaimus.) The Souvenir Sheet also includes a large image of the Naked-rumped Pouched Bat, as well as one on the stamp. The set is Post Office fresh, mint never hinged, and F/VF.
