Featured airships shown include the 1872 dirigible from French naval architect Henri Dupuy de Lome, the 1872 semi-rigid-frame airship of German aviation pioneer Paul Haenlein, the United Kingdom's 1909 Willows II airship from Welsh aviator Ernest Thompson Willows, the first electric-powered airship from the Tissandier brothers, Gaston & Albert, the Astra Airship Ville de Lucerne from 1910, and His Majesty's Mayfly Airship No. 1 from 1910. The set is Scott Catalog #561-6, and is Post Office fresh, mint never hinged, and F/VF.
