This is a beautiful 3 stamp sheet, issued by Guinea in 2012, featuring Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948). The stamps each feature an image of Gandhi, the preeminent leader of Indian nationalism in British-ruled India, and the inspiration for movements of non-violence, civil rights and freedom across the world. The stamps also feature images of birds and plants, including the mango (Mangifera indica), the Indian lotus (Nelumbo nucifera), and the Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus). The background sheet includes an image of the Hindu deity Krishna. The sheet is Post Office fresh, mint never hinged, and F/VF.
