This is a beautiful sheet consisting of 4 stamps, issued by St. Thomas & Principe in 2008, displaying a variety of fire engines. Featured on the sheet are the 1906 Shand Mason & Co. fire engine, 1928 Stoughton fire engine, 1939 Scammell fire engine, and the 1931 Leyland fire engine. Also included are statues of Xiuhtecuhtli the Aztec God of fire and the ancient mathematician and inventor Ctesibius from ancient Egypt, among others. The sheet is Scott catalog #1854, and is Post Office fresh, mint never hinged.
